Who am I?
I am a wife, a daughter, a sister and a mother of three. Alhamdulillah I have been blessed with a beautiful and supportive family, friends who politely laugh at my jokes and neighbours and colleagues who are ready with smiles!
From being a self-conscious teenager, through the hectic routine as a mother of young children, I now find myself more relaxed and confident than I have been at other times of my life.
Apart from having a part-time job, I like to busy myself with studies and volunteering in the community. I am a creative cook and I love to challenge myself with puzzles.
I started this blog to engage with women from all backgrounds, to explore and take advantage of resources, available locally and online, to help us become more confident Muslimahs and more rounded individuals who radiate health mentally, physically and spiritually.
I am open to suggestions and constructive feedback. Together we can make a difference to the welfare and portrayal of Muslim women in our community and in the wider society.
Your sister,
Amera
